President Buhari Extends Gradual Ease Of Lockdown In Lagos, Abuja, Ogun By Two Weeks

The Federal Government on Monday expanded the continuous facilitating of the lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun States by fourteen days (fourteen days).


Official of the Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus Pandemic and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, made this known during a press briefing in Abuja.

Mustapha said the decision for slow  straightforwardness was a result of the growing number of cases in the country.  He said the lockdown which will begin on Tuesday will last till the first week of June.


President Buhari, fourteen days ago announced gradual ease of  the lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun States in order to  check the spread of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
